Miller Barns is a family-owned business. We lived in Montana for 30 years and owned and operated first, a sawmill business and then, a logging company. So we have always worked with wood. Sadly, "Timber and Sawmilling" is a declining industry.

In 2006, we saw the need for quality portable buildings at better prices. The traditional storage shed, in our opinion, looks cheap. We saw that it would be easy to build you a better product at a lower price. Why use 1 x 4s when 2 x 4s are better and the cost is almost the same? You will not find a 1 x 4 anywhere on a Miller Barn! We put a 2 x 6 on top of a 2 x 4 for our top plate. Check out our corners; 2 x 4s rabbeted together. We have never seen anyone else do this with portable buildings. Cool, huh? You get a stronger wall and a natural overhang.

We take pride in every building out the door. They don't look cheap, they look and are high-quality! We are constantly developing new products for you.
